Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk
The funds raised through the Walk help Dana-Farber Cancer Institute forge ahead as it seeks new treatments for the disease and move them from the laboratory directly to adult and pediatric patients.
Last year I walked 13.1 miles in the Jimmy Fund Walk to both remember Skip G - father, husband, uncle, brother, coach, friend - and to support the efforts of Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund to find new treatments and cures for cancer. Although it was a beautiful crisp fall day, I'm not going to say it was easy. However, it was a great experience and I can't wait to walk again. I am very grateful for anything you can give.
